I.M.C.A. Old Timers was formed to promote and preserve I.M.C.A. (International Motor Contest Association) history, including the preservation and excellent restoration of former I.M.C.A. race cars; to maintain records and documents of I.M.C.A. history; recognition of former drivers, owners, mechanics and others involved in I.M.C.A. history; and provide an opportunity for the social and technical interchange of members interested in auto racing history.

LAST FALL DICK KATH PURCHASED A 57 CHEV STOCK CAR FROM EARL LOVELACE, WABASHA MN. DICK IS IN THE PROCESS OF MAKING IT INTO A TRIBUTE CAR, TO HIS DAD, A WW II POW. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE FINISHED PRODUCT. THIS PARTICULAR 57 CHEVE COME WITH A LOT OF RACING HISTORY. IT WAS ORIGIONALLY RACED ON DIRT TRACKS IN SE MINNESOTA. SOME WHERE ALONG THE LINE, TOM STETTNER ST. PAUL PARK, MN, PURCHACED THE CAR AND RACED IT IN VINTAGE EVENTS. IN 2005 THE CAR WAS BOUGHT BY JIM HEILAND, ARLINGTON, MN. JIM RACED THE CAR ALL OVER MINNESOTA WISCONSIN, IOWA, AND EVEN AT ZEPHYRHILLS FL. 2009 EARL LOVELACE PURCHASED THE CAR. THAT IS A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE CAR.
