Mark your calendar! The IMCA Old Timers swap meet and Dakota City Heritage Village Vintage Sale will happen Saturday May 10th at the Dakota County Fairgrounds. This meet will be the best yet as we combine our swap meet and car show with the Village vintage sale! Our museum building will be open and the Dakota village drug store will be selling food and... Root beer floats!! See you all there!! Gates open at 8am, vendor set up begins at 7.  Current IMCA Old Timers members get in free and member vendors for $10.00. 🏁🇺🇲🏁

Jim Kulseth:

Thanks to all our wonderful volunteers that helped make our first Swap Meet, Vintage Sale and Car Show a huge success! We had over 40 different vendors and swappers and 50 show cars, race cars and hot rods for everyone to check out! As with any inaugural event, there are some things we'll need to tweak and adjust to make our next event even BETTER! We thank our partners and volunteers from Dakota City Heritage Village for collaborating with us to make this event happen. We were blessed with perfect weather and it was great to meet so many smiling faces at the front gate. Lots of values were found at the sale and lots of great food and treats were served at the Drug Store. It was a great day .

!! ATTENTION SUPPORTING MEMBERS !!
Are you looking for a way to be more involved in your club? Look no further!
We need supporting members who are willing to work on various committees to help steer and have hands-on involvement in the club activities. We have a busy summer coming with several fun, exciting events planned. We need help with the spring Swap Meet, the race at Rice County Fairgrounds, racing at Cedar Lake Speedway, reviewing and updating our racing rulebook, working at the Dakota County Fairgrounds during fair time, and we also need IT help. We are looking for a webmaster to revise and grow our website. If you are a supporting member and are willing to work on any of these activity committees, please reach out to any board member. Thanks for considering helping and keeping your club growing!
President Rob Caho and activities director Chuck Doyle will be working on planning these events and making sure we have enough help. Looking forward to a fun summer! 🏁🇺🇲🏁

‼️update for tonights event‼️
The weather forecast shows to have the R word possible tomorrow, as much as we would like to race R word or shine, we want to respect the racetrack and racetrack staff, so we will be watching the weather and working with Chateau Speedway to make the best decision for all involved. Sometimes it can create a lot more work for the racetrack workers to get the track back to a good state for the following event. We have been informed that some IMCA old timers will be coming from out of state, so we will try to post an update as early as possible.
🎟️Reminder age 17 and under are free to get in the grandstands🎟️
Since this track does not have the pits in the infield, we will be able to do some hot laps before the racing event starts. Make sure to get there early and through tech so you can do some testing.
Here are the order of events

1:30 tech opens
